YOUNG LEADERS AND COMMUNITY-ACTIVITIES ORGANIZERS

The program is open for young people of all Armenian organizations of the Diaspora, who are twenty (20) years old and more, hold positions in various public organizations and councils. Applicants must have a working experience of one (1) year in one of the areas above. The aim of the program is to promote the creation and development of community structures of the diaspora, increase the effectiveness of programs intended to preserve the Armenian identity, introduce new self-governance mechanisms, and create competencies that will successfully work in the field of community and organizational work. The program also includes the establishment of contacts with the homeland, familiarization with the priorities of the foreign and domestic policy of Republic of Armenia (RA), the structure and the main directions and activities of the RA Ministry of Diaspora. Within the framework of the proposed program, there are meetings with officials of the government and politicians.

 

The program introduces the following:

aa) Working in small groups that intended to create working teams, make professional discussions for and to summarize the final projects. The final project should be submitted by PowerPoint presentation. Each team should submit one final report.  

bb) Organizing professional lectures.

cc) Official meetings.
